Portrait Drawing Workshop

Kerry will guide students through the process of drawing a realistic portrait. Working from photographic reference of a master work, students will follow along the step by step process of drawing a portrait. Students will learn about the proportions of the face, the art of measuring and creating believable form with pencil.

Artists of all levels will be able to create a portrait they are proud of.

Supplies required:

Graphite pencils: 2b, 4b, 6b, 8b

Kneaded eraser

White rubber eraser

18”x24” Toned tan paper

Drawing board
